LB Universal. The No. 1 lightweight chimney.
The LB Universal was developed as a fully-fledged 3-shell lightweight chimney especially for retrofitting and meets all fire protection requirements.
The system is approved for fireplaces for solid fuels such as stoves, heating inserts and fireplaces in negative pressure operation.
The LB Universal has an internal flue gas evacuation made of high-quality stainless steel that heats up quickly. The outer shell of only 40 mm fibre-silicate panels ensures the required fire resistance duration of 90 minutes. The 30 mm heat insulation shell in between keeps heat losses low and guarantees good draught in the chimney.
The simple plug-in technique of the prefabricated shaft elements with tongue and groove makes it very quick and easy to assemble. The minimal external dimensions with a wall thickness of only 75 mm and the dry construction method open up flexible design options for the planner. With its low weight and smooth surface, the LB Universal is ideally suited for retrofitting in buildings.
Even inclined guides are easy to realise with the prefabricated bends. The LB Universal is especially recommended for installation on wall consoles or wooden beam ceilings, for conversions, when special solutions are required or for installation in prefabricated houses with wooden post and beam constructions.
The LB Universal can be finished and heated immediately after installation.
There are many design options above the roof, whether it is a factory-fitted prefabricated slip-on cowl, on-site chimney cowl cladding or transition to the Raab DW double-walled gas flue system.
