Chimney systems

The production of chimney systems and flue gas components is the core business of the Raab Group.

With the production of concrete tops for chimneys, the path to today’s market-leading position in the field of chimney and flue gas technology began in 1983.

Today, the company is one of the few full-range suppliers on the market in this area.

Components for flue gas and heating technology

In the field of flue gas technology, Joseph Raab GmbH & Cie. KG expanded its range of services in 1997 through the acquisition of Kutzner + Weber GmbH, based in Maisach. What began at Kutzner + Weber more than 80 years ago with the well-known “Diermayer flap” has today expanded to include numerous products. In addition to thermally and motor-controlled flue gas dampers, the subsidiary offers smoke extractors, particle separators, flue gas silencers and draught regulators.

With its products related to flue gas technology for combustion plants, Kutzner + Weber is the ideal complement to Raab’s products. Innovative system solutions for increasing energy efficiency, minimizing pollutants and reducing noise once again underline the company’s mottos: Leading through competence and innovation – Environment – People.

Important things about chimney and renovation

New building

The flue gas system is an essential lifeline in the house. Therefore, its functionality is of crucial importance. And the simplest option at first glance is not always the best long-term solution.

Sooting, the installation of a new heating system or the subsequent installation of a fireplace or stove – the reasons for a chimney renovation are as varied as the solutions offered to make the “old” one fit for the new requirements.

Standards, directives and regulations. Numerous regulations must be observed when constructing or modifying combustion plants and flue gas systems. We have summarized the most important information for you.

Since 1997 the entire company has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and Raab has continued this certification until today.
