EW-Flex – Flexible stainless steel tubes for demanding installation situations
Challenging installation situations such as distortions in the chimney are easy to master with flexible stainless steel pipes. Our EW-Flex flexible stainless steel pipe was developed specifically for such situations.
EW-Flex is available in single and double-walled versions. It is made of high-quality stainless steel type 1.4404 (316L). Both versions have passed all the necessary corrosion tests and have the CE declaration of performance for flexible metal inner pipes in accordance with EN 1856-2 with voluntary external monitoring in accordance with System 2+.
This makes them suitable for all heat generators, from condensing boilers to fireplaces and tiled stoves, gas fireplaces to wood pellet heating and wood chip systems. Oil and gas calorific value boilers can be connected in pressurized operation. They are insensitive to humidity up to 200 °C in overpressure operation up to 200 Pa for oil and gas and soot fire resistant up to 600 °C for solid fuels.
The narrow range of nominal diameters from 80 DN to 200 DN takes into account the limited space available for chimney renovation. The practical plug connectors for combination with the Raab EW rigid fittings ensure quick and easy installation.
