The Raab Group invests in the future at the Luckenau site

Luckenau, 20 October 2023 – The Raab Group, a leading supplier in the manufacture of gas flue systems, gas flue components and heat exchangers for flue gas heat recovery, has made a groundbreaking investment at its Luckenau site. This initiative marks a significant step in the direction of fully automated pipe production, which includes all work steps from the production of the steel sheet to the end processing.

At the heart of this investment is the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that produces a wide range of single- and double-walled stainless steel pipes in a fully automated process. It can be used to cut pipes from different materials with a wide range of diameters, lengths and material thicknesses. The system is complemented by robots, machines for end processing and flatbed lasers. This not only enables impressive efficiency, but also guarantees the highest quality standards.

Another part of this innovation is a new insulation cabin, equipped with a twin blow-in machine, which insulates moulded parts particularly efficiently in terms of thermal insulation value and working time. The Raab Group thus underlines its high standards of sustainability and energy-efficient production processes.

In addition to these new standards, the machine shop has a pipe cutting laser that enables a wide range of cuts to be made on finished pipes. In the downstream process, connections of T-pieces and cleaning openings can then be manufactured. This means that even large series productions are possible quickly and efficiently.

The investment at the Luckenau site is a clear sign of the Raab Group’s commitment to driving the region forward with innovative solutions while meeting the needs of its customers. This step strengthens the group’s position in the market segment and underlines its contribution to sustainable development in the industry.
