Reduce CO2<\/sub> eligible for subsidies: Heat recovery from flue gases with Thermojekt heat exchangers<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Maisach, 13 March 2023 \u2013 The recovery of heat from flue gases not only helps to reduce CO2<\/sub> emissions and energy costs. Companies also benefit from a subsidy of up to 30 per cent of the eligible costs from the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). In this way, they not only produce in a more environmentally friendly way, but can also reduce their operating costs. Eligible and especially efficient are the <\/strong>Thermojekt heat exchanger<\/strong><\/a> from NET, a brand of the Raab Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Systematic recovery of heat from exhaust gases can significantly reduce energy costs and CO2<\/sub> emissions \u2013 BAFA supports this with funding offers. Heat exchangers can make a valuable contribution, especially in companies where hot exhaust gases are produced over long periods of time. This is the case, for example, in the baking and food industries, in hardening shops, powder coating plants, foundries and metal processing.<\/p>\n

Among others, NET’s Thermojekt heat exchangers with up to 100 kW nominal heat output from biomass are classified as eligible and listed with BAFA. There is a choice of flue gas heat exchangers with smooth tube or finned tube; these recover heat from flue gases. With vapour condensers, the high condensation heat can be recovered from polluted humid air such as baking vapours or vapour extraction systems contaminated with suspended particles.<\/p>\n

The heat exchangers can be used without any problems in new systems as well as in existing ones. NET’s portfolio is completed by accessories such as control technology, hydraulic sets and even chimney fans with control. The standard product range is approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) with the number Z-43.31-458. NET also offers other product ranges with special advantages, such as an extremely low pressure loss or an optimised integrated bypass system.<\/p>\n

The thermoject heat exchangers are made of stainless steel and have a high-quality finish. The pull-out registers enable easy and thorough cleaning, which is an immense advantage, especially with flue gases containing suspended particles. These properties make the units particularly suitable for heat recovery from biomass flue gases.<\/p>\n
